Harry S. Hale

Hale, Harry S., 68, of Geistown. Died July 19, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 9, 1942, in Altoona. Son of the late Nelson and Elsie (Berkheimer) Hale. Also, preceded in death by two infant brothers and sister, Virginia Gardner. Survived by wife of 50 years, Timmie L. (Greene) and these children. Carmel, wife of Kevin Wieserman, Johnstown; and Harry Jr, married to the former Joyce Wiltrout, Lexington Park, Md.; grandchildren, Ian Wieserman and  Darius Daftarian . Brother of Faye Wike, Mary Ann Wilson, Kaye Bowers, Bonnie Vallei, Ray Hale, and Dennis Hale, all of Altoona. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Harry served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Retired in 1993 from Fi-Hoff Concrete, Inc. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother who enjoyed NASCAR and classic cars. Private visitation and services at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Emmanuel Baptist Church Mission Fund in care of 425 Luther Road, Johnstown, Pa. 15904, in memory of Harry S. Hale.
