Harry F. Fochtman

Fochtman, Harry F., 78, of Jackson Twp. Died September 17, 2015, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born Oct. 4, 1936, in Johnstown. Son of the late James and Sarah (Evans) Fochtman. Survived by wife of 48 years, Janet E. (Varner); and daughter, Kim and husband Dave Hirko; grandson, Ryan Hirko. Brother of William and wife, Dottie; and sister, Janeta Aspey. Also survived by niece and nephews. Retired from Coke Plant Division, Bethlehem Steel. Member of Oakland United Methodist Church. Harry was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who was a very gentle man and will be deeply  missed.  He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, movies, fall vacations and going fishing. At Harry’s request, there will be no public visitation. A private gathering will be held at noon Tuesday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Rev. Randy Bain.
