Harold Horner

Horner, Harold, 85, of Richland. Died on June 30, 2011 at his residence. Born Feb. 8, 1926, in Windber. Son of the late Ernest and Sadie (Stutzman) Horner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Alice Cotterman and two infant brothers. Survived by wife, the former Hulda M. Bloom and these children; Cheri Duman, Gettysburg; Ronald A., married to the former Kim Sexton, Atlanta, Ga.; Jay, Pittsburgh; and David, married to the former Diane Barrett, Windber. Also 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Brother of Ralph (Betty); Ernest (Betty); Merle (Angie), all of Windber and June Custer, York, PA. Harold was a WW II Army Veteran. He retired from maintenance at Richland School District. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and auto mechanics. Friends received from 11 A.M. until time of service at 1 P.M. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Custeads, Officiating.
