Geraldine J. Ruckser

Ruckser – Geraldine J., 84, Stonycreek Township, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2023 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born on February 15, 1939 in Dunlo, daughter of James W. and Olive Mae (Weaver) Mock. Preceded in death by her parents, and an infant brother, Raymond.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 &1/2 years, Thomas C.; son, James C. (Barbara) Ruckser, Bridgeport, WV; grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea) Kerr, Lauren (Erik) Abel, and Kenneth Kerr; great-grandchildren, Audrey, and Katelyn Kerr, Lukas, and Jakob Abel; sister, Doris Hagans, Bedford, PA; brothers, Donald Mock, Johnstown, and Brian (Beth) Mock, Wamego, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geri attended Johnstown High School. She was employed at Thrift Drug Store and Valley Oral Surgeons, and Charles Griffith and Michael Gress Oral Surgeons. Geri was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed mowing grass, and planting flowers. Geri loved kids and peperoni rolls from WV.

At Geri’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be held at Richland Cemetery. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
