George R. Licht

Licht – George R., 71, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2016 at his residence. Born on February 10, 1945 in Johnstown, son of the late Robert G. and Dorothy E. (Kitzmiller) Licht. He is survived by his loving children, Erik G., Johnstown, Marlena L., wife of Kenneth M. Dinger, Greensburg, PA, and Ryan Licht, Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Larry E., married to the former Judith Santiago, Richland Township; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. George was a 1964 graduate of Richland High School. He was a self-employed antique dealer and auctioneer. George enjoyed fishing, golfing, and going to music concerts.  In his younger years, he was a popular lead singer for several local bands. At George’s request there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with the Pastor Peter Nordlund officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
