Gary E. Holt Sr.

HOLT—Gary E. Sr., 78, Johnstown, passed away on May 24, 2024. Born September 7, 1945, in Conemaugh son of Albert Irvin Holt and Dorothy (Yahnert) Kissell. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Terry Kissell and Lanny Kissell. Survived by Erica McCullough and husband, William, Trevose, PA; and Gary E. Holt Jr. and wife, Tina (Cook) Holt, Johnstown and sister, Joyce Ditko and husband, Ronald, Parkhill. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Ronnie, Lisa, Courtney, Megan, Trinity, Lanny Jr. “L.J,” Scott, Meg and Bobby and former Spouse, Marilyn (Salem) Diehl. Gary worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation for many years where he worked as a foreman in the rolling department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved woodworking. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed time in the woods. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh.
