Buterbaugh, Frank W., 89, of Stonycreek Township, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born on May 9, 1923 in Johnstown. Son of Clyde and Alyce (Agey) Buterbaugh. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlotte F. (Smith) Buterbaugh; son, Terry Buterbaugh and daughter-in-law, Karen (Cuppett) Buterbaugh. He is survived by his loving son, William L., married to the former JoAnn Pohalski, Stonycreek Township; grandchildren, Bradley and Matthew Buterbaugh, Hope McCulloch, Ron Schrengost, Stephanie Guyan, wife of Bruce and Justin (Christina) Schrengost; sister-in-law, Martha J. Wingard, Richland Township and several nieces and nephews. Frank was a graduate of Conemaugh High School. He was a US Army Air Force Veteran serving during WWII. Frank was a member of the First United Methodist Church, East Conemaugh. He enjoyed hunting, working on vehicles and home improvements. Frank and his late wife, Charlotte loved going to Florida every year during the winter. At Frank’s request there will be no public viewing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date, with the Rev. Cleo Carr officiating. Private inurnment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Contributions may be directed to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Frank.
