Moore – Frances C., 96, East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2023. Born on July 7, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of Felix and Slava (Margic) Hadari. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer C. Moore; children, Carol Clark, Edward and Charles Moore; sisters, Mary Kovalcik and Rose Belsky, and brother, Joe Hadari.
She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Juliann F. Moore, and her significant other, Andrew Gandara, and Katie A. Moore, all of East Taylor Township,, Charles “Chuck” (Julia) Moore, East Conemaugh, Beverly (Tom) Ravida, Ligonier, and Nicole Moore, Austin, TX; great grandchildren, London, Selena, and Dallas Graham, and Nathan Horowitz, and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was a graduate of Franklin High School. She retired from Best Form after many years of service as a seamstress. Frances was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed line dancing, cooking, playing the violin, and gardening. Frances especially loved her family and will be remembered for always putting others before herself.
Friends and family will be received from 4–7 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh, where Vigil for deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Church of the Transfiguration, Fr. Robert C. Hall, Pastor. Committal will be at Grandview Mausoleum.
The family suggests contributions be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601in memory of Frances. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
