Urban – Eugene F., “Jeep”, 82, Lower Yoder Township, passed peacefully on October 10, 2018. Born on May 21, 1936 in Queens, NY, son of the late Bernard and Helen (Szostek). Also preceded in death by step father, John Urban; brother, Thomas; and sister, Bernadine BombaHe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Darlene (Zonin); daughters, Michelle (Jerry) Thomas; and Nancy; grandchildren, Christopher Buynack and Lisa (David) Hurst; great grandchildren, Kenley and Cash Buynack; and Abee Hurst; sister, Shirley Duris; and brother, John Urban. Also, cousin, Sharon (Jim) Ortag. Retired crane operator at Bethlehem and JPitt Steel. Member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Jeep played accordion at various clubs and functions around Johnstown and umpired for the Union Social Softball League. He bowled at Billows and enjoyed playing Pinochle. Jeep was avid Pirate fan. Family and friends invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 11 AM Monday at St. Therese Church, Decker Ave. Fr. Bernard Karmonocky, Pastor. Private Committal at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
