Edward J. Kleman

Kleman – Edward J., 85, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2022. Born on June 4, 1937 in Johnstown, son of John and Julie (Turcsak) Kleman. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Steven, John, Joseph, Frank, Carl, Annie Green, Mary Kautz, Catherine Kloss, Helen Moschat, Margaret Bollinger, and Julie McGloughlin.  

He is survived by his sister-in-law, JoAnn Smith, Ragers Corner; several nieces and nephews and many friends, including special friends, Al, Ron and Delores.

Ed was a graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Ed was employed as a mechanic for several years at the former Rudy Haupt Chevrolet Repair Shop and later retired from US Steel. He was a member Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Daisytown and Daisytown Sportsmen’s Club. Ed enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, and fishing.

At Ed’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
