Emma L. Russell

Russell, Emma L., 88, of East Conemaugh. Passed away on March 30, 2012, at Cambria Care Center. Born Oct. 8, 1923, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late George E. and Loretta Ida (Huff) Livingston. Also preceded in death by husband, Edward W. Russell; daughters, Shirley J. and Peggy L. Cole; sons, Edward L., Walter D., Alva A., Henry G. and Ronald W. Russell; grandsons, Zachary Roe and Dorsey Lee, “DJ”. Survived by Daughters; Geraldine Mackel, South Fork and Kimberly, wife of Gary Livingston, Davidsville; and Barbara, wife of Timothy Sarlouis, Johnstown. Mother in law of Leona Russell, Franklin; Susan Russell, Conemaugh; and Cecil Cole, of Dale Boro. Also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Emma enjoyed long walks, long drives and was an extremely caring person. Family suggests donations to any local food pantry or animal shelter as Emma already had a heart of Gold. Friends will be received from 11 am to time of service at 1 pm Tuesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Interment at Maple Springs Cemetery, Jerome.
