KNOBLOCH---Elmer W. “Bill,” 72, Lincoln, CA, native of Erie, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Sutter Roseville Hospital, Roseville, CA. He was born in Erie, PA on February 21, 1950, son of the late Elmer T. “Bill” and Jane A. (Johnstone) Knobloch. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Jacklyn Nelson. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Bridget E. (Gallagher); daughter, Jennifer (Knobloch) Humphries and granddaughter, Skye. Also survived by sister, Esther Klakamp and nieces and nephews, Donna and David Klakamp, Kim McCormick (Owen) Pam Stumpo (Jim) and Mark and Jeff Nelson. Bill was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served on Okinawa, Japan and received an honorable discharge in 1971. He earned the National Defense medal and Rifle Marksman badge and was positioned as an Ammo Tech. Bill was trained as a Certified Rolex Watchmaker and repair jeweler and he owned and operated his own store in Phoenix, AZ. He also owned and operated Fast Fix Jewelry Repair in Tucson, AZ and Roseville, CA malls for many years. Bill was an accomplished single engine airplane pilot. He truly loved flying, especially his Piper Cub plane. He was a member of the EAA and Vintage Aircraft Associating. Bill had a great love for animals, especially his German Shepherds. Suze and Smokie will miss him very much. There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Richland Cemetery, 1257 Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, PA with Rev. Scott Klimke officiating. Military graveside rites by Menoher VFW, Post #155 Ritual team. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
