Chromy, Eleanor (Schellhammer) âStuddaâ, 76, went to sing in the heavenly choir July 8, 2014. Born the January 17, 1938, daughter of the late James V. and Geraldine S. (McGuire) Schellhammer. Preceded in death by husband John Chromy (1995); son, Marcus J. Chromy (2008); brother, James; brothers-in-law, Joseph Brunetto and Cliff Anderson and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Hritz) Schellhammer. Survived by her daughter Robin married to Theodore Heinlein, and their children, Chad E. (Monique Noel) and their children Evan and Sofie Heinlein; Stefanie Donitzen, and her children, Dani Mae, Korie Lane, and Arek Robert Donitzen; and DeLane Grasso, and her children, Brook Dannielle McDermott and Matthew Brayden Grasso. Also survived by her siblings, Donald, Ardythe Brunetto, Glenn (Gloria Gearhart), Marlene (Bernard Kleman), Eilene (Gary Sarlouis), and Richard all of Johnstown, Gerald (Joyce Bozic) Aurora, Ohio, Donna Anderson, Marionville, PA, and Frank (Donna Labosky) Turtle Creek, PA; sister-in-law, Ruth (Irvin) Schellhammer and numerous nieces, nephews and special her family of Bon Air. Studda was a member of Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Bon Air and its choir and also a member of In Stitches at the church. She enjoyed her flowers, cooking, canning and helping out the church during their White Elephant Sale and fish fries. Studda will be remembered for kind and generous heart. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. on Friday at Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Bon Air, Fr. Robert Rustin, Pastor. Committal will be at Oak Cemetery, Daisytown.
