Eileen P. Berkey

Berkey, Eileen P. 83, of Johnstown. Died April 29, 2015, at Arbutus Manor. Born March 20, 1932 in Johnstown.  Daughter of the late James P.  and Hilda (Heinlein) Burke.  Also preceded in death by brothers; Bob, Jimmy, Leo and Bill Burke; and twin sister Evelyn Burke and Marie Catanese. Survived by children; Richard L.,married to Becky (Plunkard), David B., married to Cindie (Rubis) and Daniel D., married to Vicki (Wachs) all from Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Last employed by JC Penney and O’shea’s  Candies.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown; and former member of Geistown Lioness Club.  Eileen enjoyed gardening and dancing.  Friends received 2-8 PM  Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Monday at St. Benedict Church. Fr. David S. Peles, pastor. Commital at St. John’s Cemetery, Geistown.
