Rusnak, Edward J., 89, of Salix, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2017 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home, Sidman, PA. Born June 8, 1928, in Johnstown. Son of the late Charles and Mary (Schensny) Rusnak. Also preceded in death by wife, Mabel J. (Heller) Rusnak; step sons, Ronald and Alan Dunn; brothers, Andrew, Joseph, and Thomas; sisters, Mary Migut, and Catherine Hileman. Survived by loving children; Denise, wife of John Miller, Jr., Russell Dunn, married to Susan(Faith), and Candice Dunn; grandchildren, SGM. Edward Dunn, Alan Dunn, Angela Dunn, Alicia Saylor-Branham, Laura Saylor-Renwick, Trevor Miller and Slade Miller; and great granddaughters, Julia, Mabel, Shaylee, and Violet; and great grandsons, Benjamin, Brandon, Austin, Brady, Andyn, and Everett. Brother of John “Jack” (Beverly) Rusnak, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed’s family would like to thank the caring staff at Forest Hills Personal Care Home and AseraCare Hospice. Member of Sidman United Methodist Church. Ed was a US Navy Veteran serving during WW II. He retired after 35 years of service from Bethlehem Steel, where he was employed as a craneman. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, puzzles, poker and traveling. Ed was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be sadly missed. At Ed’s request there will be no public viewing. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 V.F.W. Ritual Team.
