Edward Robert Monteith

Monteith, Edward Robert, 71, of Johnstown. Died peacefully Mar. 19, 2015 at Windber Hospice. Born Mar. 16, 1944, in Johnstown. Son of the late Charles and Helen (Schmucker) Monteith-Peterson. Survived by Cousin, Nancy (Tom) Smith and family; Bill & Kim; Brenda & Joe; Kyle & Gina; Tom & Sherry; and families. 1962 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was associated with UCP for many years. Edward was exceptional at sports statistics and formerly umpired baseball for the Johnstown and Winchester City leagues. Although Edward was disabled life long, he made the best of his disabilities.
