Edward C. Letchworth

LETCHWORTH – Edward C., 86, East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord Sept. 12, 2015, at home. Born June 22, 1929, in Armstrong County, son of the late George and Gertrude (Dougherty) Letchworth. Preceded in death by son, Bruce E. Letchworth. Survived by wife of 65 years, former Hazel E. Britton, and daughter, Elaine V., wife of Jonathan M. Holodynsky, Salisbury Mills, N.Y. Graduate of Conemagh High School. Retired from Bethlehem Steel as an inspector. Also worked for McIlwaine Bus Lines as a school and charter bus driver. Member of Johnstown Alliance Church. Friends received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnstown Alliance Church, the Rev. Jerry Zuvers officiating. Interment, Headricks Union Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Johnstown Alliance Church, 100 Arbutus Ave. Johnstown, Pa. 15904 in memory of Ed.
