Edward F. Dillon

Dillon – Edward F., 60, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on November 15, 1955 in Johnstown, son of Maletius and Mary (Johns) Dillon-Burns. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas; father-in-law, Neal Dravis and step father, Robert Burns. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara L. (Dravis) Dillon, of Johnstown; son, Nathan E, married to the former Jessica M. Hutsky, Johnstown; grandson, Heath E. Dillon; brother, Brian, married to the former Linda Ryan, Deerfield Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews. Ed was a 1975 graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech. He retired from Ebensburg Center. Ed was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, and tinkering around the house; but more than anything, Ed loved being around his friends and family, especially his grandson, Heath. Friends will be received from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. As a recipient of an organ transplant, Ed was a firm believer of organ donation and was a participant in various clubs and organizations.
