Edna Ruth Young

Young – Edna Ruth, 92, of Johnstown, formerly of West Union, OH, went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2016 at Country Manor Living, Jerome, PA. Born on November 17, 1923 in West Union, OH, daughter of Harrison and Clara (Holmes) Musser. Preceded in death by parents; 1st husband, Norman C. Young; 2nd husband, Harry M. Feller; grandson, Seth Young; brother, Bert; sisters, Edith and Jane and an infant sister. She is survived by her loving sons, Roger Young and special friend, Theresa both of Jamestown, OH and Larry Young, married to the former Carol Clark, Mt. Blanchard, OH; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was a graduate of the University of Ohio School of Nursing. She retired from Adams County Regional Hospital, Winchester, OH as a Registered Nurse. Ruth and her 1st husband, Norman enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and after retirement they wintered in FL for many years. She also enjoyed her cats and playing the piano at church. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. on Saturday (April 16, 2016) at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union, OH, with the Rev. Robert Brown officiating. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, West Union, OH. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and Lafferty Funeral Home.
