TREXLER---Dorothy “Dottie,” 77, East Conemaugh, passed away on June 12, 2024, at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born March 27, 1947, in Johnstown, PA, daughter of John and Hazel (Carl) Poprich. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Thomas Trexler, son, Matthew Trexler, sister, Charlotte Townsend, brother, Ronald Poprich, sister-in-law, Sylvia Poprich, nephew, Samuel Poprich and nephew, Justin Ream. She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Angi) Weir (Jeff), East Taylor, Rita Corbett (Jeff), Thompson’s Station, Tenn, brother, Ken Poprich, Rootstown, OH, and sister, Sandy Ream, East Conemaugh. Also survived by grandchildren, Lianna Weir, Nate Corbett, Jeremiah Corbett (Alexa), Nemo Trexler (Alexis), Haley Corbett (Torey), Romeo Trexler, Mackenzie Corbett and Sydney Gula-Weir, great-grandson, Ezekiel Corbett-Otey and numerous nieces and nephews including special niece and nephew, Mandy Ream and Stephen Ream. Dottie was a graduate of East Conemaugh High School. Dottie was very active and treasurer of the Conemaugh Valley Youth League. Dottie managed the concession stand for many years. Dottie was well known for her famous french fries. Dottie was very active at Visitation Church BINGO. She also enjoyed camping at Woodland Park. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church which became Church of the Transfiguration, East Conemaugh. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday June 22, 2024 at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh, Very Rev. Matthew Baum officiating. Commital, Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to a Hospice or charity of your choice in memory of Dorothy “Dottie” Trexler.
