Dorothy A. Ramirez

Ramirez – Dorothy A., 72, of Johnstown, formerly of East Conemaugh, went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2016 at Golden Living Center. Born on August 15, 1943 in Boltz, PA, daughter of Crawford L. and Katherine D. (Pearce) Corson. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Guggy” Ramirez; siblings, Mary Winkleman, Laura Yoder, Betty Jones, and brother-in-law, Donald Yoder. She is survived by her loving daughters, Tina Taormina, Mary Fike, and Penny Taormina, all of Johnstown; grandsons, Jeremiah Taormina, and his fiancée, Ashley Chris and Joshua Taormina, all of Johnstown; great grandsons, Jordan, Brantly, Kyler, and Jeremiah; siblings, Audrey Kris-Sherrer, Johnstown, George, married to the former Betty Rummell, Woodvale, William, married to the former Virginia Rummell, Parkhill, Kenneth (Christine), Vinco, and Thomas Corson, Burnside, PA and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, baking, and going to yard sales and shopping. Dorothy will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Pastor Terry Knipple officiating.
