LEHMAN—Dorothy E., 95, Belmont, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2019. Born August 21, 1923, in Sidman, daughter of Charles and Nellie (Crum) Walls. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 43 years, Warren D. Lehman; brother, Charles Walls, sisters, Vivian Thomas and Betty Messick. Survived by children, Brian W. and wife, Sharon (Gregorchik), Belmont; Kevin D. and girlfriend, Lisa Arcurio, Belmont; and Timothy I. and wife, Sharon (Gracey), Richland; grandchildren, Erich Borror and Benjamin Lehman (Victoria Jekielek), Jamie (Noah) Wynkoop, Megan (Brett) Ninness, Nicole (Nick) Campbell and Shawn (Holli) Lehman; great-grandchildren, Laurel Ninness, Claire Campbell, Levi and Caleb Wynkoop and soon to be born Baby Lehman. Sister of Virginia Jakubac, Richland, Violet Woolleston, State College and Shirley Hruska, Richland; also survived by sister-in-law, Shirley Walls, Sidman and many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Beaverdale High School. After high school, Dorothy worked at an airplane plant during World War II in Middletown, PA. She was a 1947 graduate of Conemaugh Valley Hospital School of Nursing and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. Dorothy was a charter member of Belmont United Methodist Church where she was very active and served on many committees. She taught Sunday School and vacation Bible School for over 40 years. She served on the Board of Elections in Stonycreek Township and was proud that she voted consecutively for many years. The family will receive friends  from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and again from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Belmont United Methodist Church, Rev. Jean Smith officiating. Committal, Richland Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations to Belmont United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund in memory of Dorothy. A special thank you to Arbutus Park Manor Personal Care staff on the West Wing and also to AseraCare Hospice for the wonderful love and care provided to Dorothy.
