Dorothy A. Hite

Hite, Dorothy A., 93, Belmont. Passed away August 17, 2013 at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born March 7, 1920, in Lilly. Daughter of the late Edward T. and Mary Catherine (Leap) Brown. Also preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Raymond L. Hite in 2011; siblings, Michael, Herbert, William, Helen Smith, Ann Melley, Florence Snowden and Elsie Beichner. Last surviving member of immediate family. Survived by sons; Raymond L. Jr., married to the former Joyce D. Petrarca, Johnstown; Michael F., married to the former Paula Flinn, Cresson; and Robert E. married to the former Judy Frank, Annandale, VA. Grandchildren; Hannah (Aaron) McCurry, Jason (Suzanne) Hite, John (Erica) Minnick, Keely Hite, Michaela (Denver) Claywell and Stephanie Frank. Also 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown.  Also member of Mothers Club and Legion of Mary. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Thursday at St Benedict Church.
