Dorothy C. Beabes

Beabes, Dorothy C., 87, of Geistown. Died April 12, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Richland. Born March 4, 1928, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Houston and Lara (Hall) Jones. Also preceded in death by siblings; Eric Jones; Elizabeth Hutlock; and Lucy Boxler. Survived by husband of 67 years, Louis L. Beabes; children; Susan Bullock, Ernest Ray (Barbara Woomer) Beabes, Daniel (Kathie Burns) Beabes and John (Pamela Johnson) Beabes. 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sister of Edward Jones. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of Dale High School. Member of Moxham Lutheran Church and Geistown-Richland Lioness Club.  Former member of Johnstown Symphony Choral. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, quilting with the church ladies and will be greatly missed by family. Friends received from 9 AM to time of service at 10:30 AM Thursday at Moxham Lutheran Church. Rev. Dr. Robert R. Wagner, officiating. Interment at Richland Cemetery.
