Doris M. Muha

Muha, Doris M., 72, of Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 19, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on July 15, 1940 in Indiana County. Daughter of Clair D. and Mae (Burnheimer) Henry. Preceded in death by parents and a brother-in-law, Melvin Hershberger. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, William R. Muha; son, Mark R. Muha, Laughlintown; daughter, Diane C., wife of Scott Dorian, Hollsopple; grandchildren, John W. Muha, FL, Travis Dorian, Hollsopple and Jessica Mae Muha, AZ; sister, JoAnn Hershberger, GA; and brother, Dennis, married to the former Barbara Smith, Southmont; brother-in-law, Ron Muha and wife, Beverly, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Doris was a 1958 graduate of Johnstown High School and then graduated from Hagerstown Medical Secretarial School. She was employed as an Office Manager/ Medical Secretary with various doctors in the Cambria County area. Doris was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to the shore with her family and friends, along with taking rides thru the country side spotting for deer. Doris loved shopping and reading. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the Deceased will be held. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Fr. Angelo Patti, Officiating. Committal will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family suggests contributions be directed to Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA. 15963 in memory of Doris.
