Doris Jeanne Knipple

Knipple, Doris Jeanne, 89, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2012 at Golden Living Center. She was born on February 2, 1923 in Meyersdale, daughter of D. Carl and Ruth J. (Beal) Stahl. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert C. Knipple; sister, Eris Rininger and a grandson, Christopher Lape. She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan C., wife of Allen Stufft, Alum Bank, PA and Gwenna K., wife of Larry Lape, Osterburg, PA; grandchildren, Sharon Aikey, Judith Glass, David Mowry and Lori Beegle; 6 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Quentin Rininger, Fishertown, PA2 nephews and good friend, Kathy Defrehn, Richland Township. Doris was a 1940 graduate of Dale High School. She retired from Ogle and Walters Insurance Agency, where she was employed as an Insurance Agent. Doris was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting stamps. Friends will be received from 9 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev.
