Hershberger, Donald Roy, 84, Arbutus Park retirement Community. Died Jan. 13, 2014, at home. Born April 30, 1929, in Richland Township. Son of the late Alfred C. and Evelyn (Frye) Hershberger. Also preceded in death by wife, Nancy S. (Studebaker); brothers, George Edward and Glenn Oliver; and sister, Kathryn Dagney. Survived by children; Donald Wayne (Mary Bittner), Woodbridge, VA; Douglas Brian (Veronica Lee), Essex Junction, VT; and Denise LaRue (Pastor Cliff Reynolds), Coal Center, PA.; Also 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Nyle Millard (Ruth Jean), Richland. 1947 graduate of Richland High School. Retired Engineering Supervisor with 38 years’ service from General Telephone Electronics (now Verizon). Member of Belmont United Methodist Church (Honorary Trustee), Greater Johnstown Lodge #538 F. & A.M., Alma Lodge #523, I.O.O.F. and Gideons International. Friends received from 9:30 AM to 11 AM time of service Thursday at the Belmont United Methodist Church. Pastor Keith Dunn, officiating. Entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
