DEITKE---Donald Lee, 77, Richland, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2022, at Windber Hospice. Born March 12, 1945, in Johnstown, son of Anthony Sr. and Pauline (Panek) Deitke. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Lillian (Goughenour); brothers, Richard and Anthony Jr. Survived by son, Eric and wife, Jennifer (McCall), Richland; grandsons, Austin and Ayden Deitke; nieces and nephews; and adopted daughter, Misty. Also survived by special friend, Helen Nastase. Don was a 1963 graduate of Richland High School. He worked for 30 years at Bethlehem Steel Corp. Don was the owner/operator of DVW Imports for over 50 years, where he specialized in Volkswagen repair and restoration. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. During his fishing adventures he fished with many friends and new acquaintances. His favorite place to fish was the Potomac River. Don also loved to do woodworking in his shop. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Church, with Fr. Peter Crowe. Committal, Richland Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber or the American Heart Association at www.heart.org in memory of Donald L.
