Donald J. Cyburt

Cyburt-Donald J., 73, of Chesapeake Va. Went to be with his Lord on February 15, 2024. Born June 6, 1950, in Johnstown Pa. Preceded in death by parents Wallace Cyburt, Florance (Urbasik) Cyburt/ Cabo and step-father Louis Cabo. Brothers Wallace, Allen and Kevin.

Don is survived by his brothers Louis and Sean Cabo of Johnstown, and Kenneth and Timothy Cyburt of Chesapeake Va.; Eleven nieces and nephews, three great niece and five sisters in law. 

He was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High, Cambria-Rowe Business College, Alliance College and a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He also belonged to the Harmony Singing Society.  Former owner and manager of the Road Side Inn (Chesapeake) and retired from The Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters (Norfolk, VA) after 20 years of service. Don loved to follow the Steeler, Pirates and Penguins, he was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.

There will be a graveside service at Saint Casimir’s Cemetery, Esterville Road, Johnstown on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11a.m. Father George Gulash Celebrant. Friends and family will be received there and at the home of his brother Sean after the service.
