Dolores M Long

Long, Dolores M.,87, of Johnstown. Went to be with the Lord and Savior on February 23, 2013. She passed away peacefully at home. She was born June 24, 1925, in Johnstown, PA. Daughter of Clemison and Grace (Colbert) Varner. Preceded in death by parents; husband; Stephen Carl Long; sister Eleanor Meyers, and brothers, Montell, Ellwood and Harold. Dolores was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by daughter, Carol Long Gresh, grandson, Stephen Carl Gresh and grandpuppy, Shawn Matthew. Dolores was a graduate of East Conemaugh High School and Hammond Beauty School. She was a Cosmetologist in Altoona, PA  before she married Stephen Long. She enjoyed going to church, sewing, reading and canning foods from the garden. She was a member of Summit Chapel United Methodist Church. At the request of the family, there will be a private viewing, service, and committal at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Pastor John Weaver will officiate.
