Mercado - D’nessa R'lise, “Nessa”, 23, Norfolk, VA, formerly of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2018. Born on June 18, 1995 in Johnstown, daughter of Lester V. Dudley, Johnstown and Bryanna D. (March) Gaunt, Pittsburgh. She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate of 3 years, Bryan J. Mercado, Norfolk, VA; daughter, Aliyah S., Norfolk, VA; siblings: Jazmine Conrath, Mykal Gaunt, Sierra Gaunt, Joseph Gonzales, Jizayah Dudley, Oriana Dudley, Decklin March, and Johnathan Triplin; brother-in-law, Brandon Mercado; sisters-in-law, Amanda Mercado and Amber Velasquez. Also, many family and friends. Nessa was a 2013 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a US Navy Veteran. Nessa was a beautiful and bright soul, who spread love and peace to everyone she encountered from strangers to friends and family. Nessa was a creative spirit that loved to sing, write, and inspire the dreams of others. She knew the importance of happiness and bonds. Nessa was the glue in so many lives. Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
