Denise Monko

Monko – Denise(Vrabel), 56 of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born on September 15, 1964 in Johnstown, daughter of Robert and Mary (Carmichael) Vrabel. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 29  years, Joseph E. Monko, Jr;  daughter Nicole Bartlebaugh; sons Corey Monko (Angela) and Cody Monko; grandchildren, Domenick Bartlebaugh, Jr., Madilynn Monko and Braxton Monko; sisters, Linda Vrabel, Brenda Hollern Harrison (Jason), twin brother, Dennis Vrabel and brother, Robert Vrabel and several nieces and nephews. Denise attended Conemaugh Valley High School and was a former resident of East Taylor Township.  She loved spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed walks in the woods with her dogs, especially her dog Molly.  Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.  Denise loved the simple things in life, had a kind soul and a hug and smile for everyone she met. Private arrangements are being made by Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh.
