Denise R. Bovino

BOVINO---Denise R., 65, Johnstown, passed away on September 20, 2022, in Johnstown. Born January 4, 1957, in Johnstown, daughter of Montell and Mildren Ruth (Callihan) Harrison. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Dean Harrison, Vernon Harrison, Byron Harrison and Clyde Harrison. Survived by husband of 40 years, Gene Bovino; children, Curtis Bovino, Somerset; and Nathan (Kasey) Bovino, Johnstown. Sister of Viona Blue, Benshoff Hill; Fern Blue and husband, Marlin, Freedom, PA; and Sharyn Toth, Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Denise loved flowers and she had a green thumb. She enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers and she always said that was her happy place. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she enjoyed sharing the Bible’s message with people. At Denise’s request, there will be no viewing, visitation or service. Gene and the boys welcome any friends and family to visit with them in their home. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
