Deborah L. Brotemarkle

Brotemarkle – Deborah L., 60, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2015 at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born on September 30, 1954 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert “Bob” J. and Catherine P. (Kyler) Brotemarkle, Richland Township. Preceded in death by her father and granddaughter, Faith P. Maurer. In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving daughter, Megan P., wife of Craig Maurer, Stoystown; granddaughters, Cheyenne R. and Grace M. Maurer; sister, Leslie D., wife of Guido Tenesi, Ontario, Canada; brother, Robert A. “Rob” Brotemarkle, Windber; three nieces, and a great niece and nephew. Deborah was a graduate of Richland High School. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. Deborah enjoyed shopping and drawing, but especially loved spending time with her entire family. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Ron E. Barto officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to either Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, 1068 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA 15902 or to the Church of the Brethren Home, 1005 Hoffman Avenue, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Deborah.
