David J. Locher

Locher – David J, “Moose”, 52, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on December 25, 1964 in Johnstown, son of Eileen A. (Smith) Spivey, and her friend, Tom Mitchell, both of Johnstown. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Jason and Michael Locher; 2 grandchildren; loving siblings, Ellie M., (Joseph) Kovac, Lower Yoder Township, Jackie A. (Ray) Schonvisky, Lower Yoder Township, Rick Locher, Johnstown, and Tammy L (Joseph) Tavalsky, Johnstown and several nieces and nephews. David enjoyed painting, watching the Steelers, and having a good time with his family and friends. At David’s request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Brittany L. Wooten officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
