David Nathan Berger

Berger, David Nathan, 37, of Johnstown. Died Sept. 23, 2016, in Johnstown. Born Sept. 30, 1978, in San Diego, CA. Son of David Wayne and Linda (Geddes) Berger. Preceded in death by father. Survived by son, Benjamin Tyler; mother, Linda G. Olenik and step-father, Ronald J. Olenik, Richland; brother, Chad W. (Jaclyn) Berger, Uniontown, PA.; and half- brother, Justin Berger, Bedford, PA; step-brothers, Ronald G. Olenik, Turtle Creek; Michael J. (Amanda) Olenik, Johnstown. Also aunts, Janet, Patricia and Diane; and uncles, William Berger and William T. Geddes. Graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech and served with the US Army at Ft. Sill, OK. Employed as a landscaper. A member of the Richland Church of Christ. David was a good father, son and brother who had a good heart. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Friends received from 4-7 PM Tuesday and from 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Pastor Joe Keefer, officiating.
