Darlene J. (Naugle) Catterall

CATTERALL- Darlene J. (Naugle), age 93 of Johnstown, PA passed away June 1, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Paint Township, PA to the late Herbert and Florence (Butler) Naugle. Also preceded in death by her husband The Reverend Roland Catterall, daughter Nancy Green (Catterall), and siblings John Naugle, Thelma Berkebile (Meredith, deceased) and Geraldine Naugle. She is survived by her son in law, Robert (Bob) Green, granddaughter Sarah Green and fiancé Jim McWilliam, of Philadelphia, as well as her loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Former member of former First Presbyterian Church of Windber. She was a graduate of Temple University where she started her lifelong nursing career. Darlene worked at several hospitals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Notably, she worked at Princeton University Hospital where she personally oversaw the care of Albert Einstein. After retirement, Darlene volunteered at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who held her family dear. Visitation from 10 am to 11 am time of funeral service Friday June 7, at St. Thomas Lutheran Church. Pastor Nila Cogan, officiating. Interment at St. Thomas Lutheran Church Cemetery.
