Darla J. Frye

Frye, Darla, J., 51, of East Taylor Township, passed away on May 19, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on April 10, 1960 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Ebro and Eleanor (Schmerer) Kleitches. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by infant brothers, LeRoy and Gary. She is survived by her loving husband of  31 years, Gary A. Frye, East Taylor Township; son, Darryl L. Frye, East Taylor Township; siblings, James Kleitches, Johnstown, and Shirley L. wife of Raymond Haberkorn, Beaverdale; in-laws, Allen A. and Donna B. Frye, FL; Donalyn Frye, Johnstown, Andrew Frye, New Mexico, Jonathan Frye, NC and numerous nephews and nieces, including special nieces, Gina and April and great nieces and nephews, including special great niece, Drewann; numerous friends and her 2 babies, Buffy and Taz. Darla was a 1978 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting and will be fondly remembered as the brick lady at the area craft shows and mom to a lot of sons. Friends received from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Monday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. on Tuesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh with the Rev. Barron Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
