Daquin A. Sidney

Sidney – Daquin A., 25, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2022 at Johnstown. Born on January 7, 1997 in Johnstown, son of Lanny C. Sidney, Johnstown and Helen L. (Yingling) Gaskins, Johnstown. Preceded in death by his brother, Cortez Jordan; maternal grandparents, Phyllis and Chalmer Yingling; paternal grandmother, Pauline Sidney. 

In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by his loving stepfather, Kevin L. Gaskins, Johnstown; sisters, Kimberly A. Yingling, Amber Dubose, Ashley Jordan, and K’Iani Sidney, all of Johnstown; brothers, Justin Q. Dubose, Ayalah Sidney, and Tyson Sidney all of Johnstown and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Daquin was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a employed with various businesses around the Johnstown area. Daquin enjoyed gaming and dancing. He more than anything loved being an uncle. 

At Daquin’s request, there will be no public viewing. Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 27^th, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 639 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15901, with the Rev. Theodore Tisinger officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
