Damian E. Papinchak

Papinchak, Damian E., 32, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2012 at his residence. He was born on January 27, 1980 in Windber. Son of Edward G. Papinchak, Adams Township and Cora A. (Prosser) Pastovic, Johnstown. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Frank and Rose Prosser and paternal grandfather, Michael B. Papinchak. In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Ann Papinchak, Adams Township; step father, Joseph L. Pastovic, Johnstown; step mother, Beverly A. (Hill) Papinchak, Adams Township; step sisters, Connie Pastovic, wife of Frank George, Johnstown, Susie Pastovic, wife of Richard Pace, Abington, PA, Stacey Reeger, wife of Larry Dennison, Blairsville, PA; step brothers, Jason Reeger, married to the former Stephanie Raby, Blairsville, and Robert Allison, married to the former Nicole Kuyat, Richland Township and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Damian was a 1998 graduate of Forest Hills High School. He graduated in 2003 from ITT Technical Institute, where he earned a degree in Computer Networking. Damian was formerly employed by Team Motors and later at Say-Core Inc. He enjoyed his family pets, Riley and Odie. Damian will be remembered for his generosity and kind hearted nature. Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, Father Leonard Voytek. Committal will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Damian.
