Cynthia Jo Batzel

Batzel – Cynthia Jo, 66, East Conemaugh, peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2022. Born on May 29, 1956 in Johnstown, daughter of Andrew and Gale (Barkley) Rokosh. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Joe Rokosh.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Kevin Batzel; children, Robert (Amanda) Wainwright, Thomas (Samantha) Wainwright, Jackie (James) Wainwright, Meade Batzel, and Avonne Batzel; grandchildren, Tommy, Amiee, Tucker, Aiden, Bellajune, Logan, Liam, Jay, Noah, Chase, and McKenna; sister, MaryEllen (John) Greenwood; brother, Gary (Debbie) Rokosh; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other extended family and close friends.

Cindy was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She attended Glendale Church of God, Marysville, PA. Cindy enjoyed crocheting, going to casinos, and playing BINGO. More than anything, Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon on Saturday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh, with the Re. Josh M. Thomas officiating.
