Constance L. Smith "Connie"

Smith – Constance L., “Connie”, 92, Hampton Township, PA, went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2025. Born on November 20, 1932 in Saint Michael, PA, daughter of William and Rachel (Benneto) Nancollas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Smith; brother, Robert; sisters, Laura Moore, Dorothy Fyfe, Phyllis Carnell, Betty Jane Luther, and Ruth Mucko.

She is survived by her loving sons, Richard Alan (Donna) Smith, Daniel Kevin (Patricia) Smith, and Dr. Elliot Lyle (Bonny) Smith; grandsons, Jason, Brett, Logan, Joshua, Luke, Nathan, and Anthony; granddaughters, Taylor, and Abby, and several nieces and nephews.

Connie was a graduate of Adams Township High School. She was former owner of the Karmel Korn Shop in Johnstown, also employed at Law’s Jewelry as a bookkeeper, and Life Uniform. Connie was a member of Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, Allison Park, PA. She was a joyous person, who loved everyone she came in contact with. When Connie walked into a room, she brought a smile to everyone’s face and was never at a loss for words. With the sharpest of memory, she held the role of the family historian, and loved to share all the details.

Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Jeffrey Potter officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, 4289 Mt. Royal Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101 in memory of Connie.
