Connie A. Grove

Grove, Connie A., 62, of Vinco, passed away on January 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born on May 11, 1949 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Ralph J. Price and Mildred M. (Gochnour) Price, East Taylor Township. In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William G. “Bill”, Grove III; sons, Bryan S., married to the former Linnette Eagle, Pittsburgh, Jeffrey J. Grove, and Gary G. Grove both of Vinco; grandchildren; Abigail L. and Brendan G. Grove both of Pittsburgh; siblings, Ricky R. Sr., married to the former Sally Killian, Jackson Township, Jill M., wife of Roy Sipe, Jackson Township, and Jack H., married to the former Cheryl A. Gartland; sister-in-law, Ada L., wife of Robert Goughnour, Jackson Township; several nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and her beloved cat, Ten Cents. Connie was a 1965 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She retired as a Business Assistant from various dental practices in the Johnstown and Pittsburgh areas. For over 40 years, she was Secretary, Treasurer and Caretaker at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, East Taylor Township. Connie enjoyed camping at Prince Gallitzin State Park with her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until time of service at 7 P.M. on Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Robert L. Kristoff officiating.
