Wingard – Colin Boyd, “Buzz”, 83, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2025. Born on March 14, 1942 in Johnstown, son of Fritz and Alma (McLucas) Wingard. Preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Brenda and Lynanne Wingard; siblings, Bob Wingard and Linda Sherman; sisters-in-law, Sara and Judith Wingard, and brother-in-law, James Heilmann.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marilyn A. (Heilmann) Wingard; daughter, Kim D. (Mark) Leventry, Windber; son, Boyd A. (Jessica) Wingard, Windber; grandchildren, Jerad, Alexis, and Madison Leventry, Brogan (Tom) Hunter, Nathan, Stephen, and Anna Wingard; great grandson, Daxton Hunter; brother, Dennis Wingard, Johnstown; brothers-in-law, David (Sandy) and Mark (Madalyn) Heilmann, and William Sherman; sister-in-law, Kathy Heilmann; several nieces, nephews, and many friends here as well as in Florida.

Buzz was a 1961 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, PA, and Johnstown Street Survivors Car Club. Buzz and his late father-in-law, Rudy Pristow, were owners and operators of Pristow’s Outdoor Power Equipment. In 1989, he was instrumental in creating Brendalyn Housing Development. Buzz enjoyed building and racing street rods. He also enjoyed going to Florida with his wife, Marilyn, in the winter for many years. Most of all, Buzz loved his family dearly.

At Buzz’s request, there will be no public viewing. Private inurnment will be at St. Michael Cemetery, St. Michael, PA. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to Johnstown Street Survivors Car Club, St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, PA, or to Windber Hospice in memory of Buzz.
