Wavrek, Cletus B., 93, Johnstown. Died August 29, 2013, at Laurel Wood Nursing Care Center. Born Feb. 14, 1920, in Johnstown. Son of the late John and Veronica (Nagy) Wavrek. Also preceded in death by wife, Patricia E. (Coyle); daughter, Rebecca; siblings, Helen Whittemore, Andrew Vanglarick and Elizabeth Wavrek; and brother-in-law, James Coyle. Survived by sons; Skip (Julie Myers), Richland and Scott (Anita Lang), Altoona; grandson, Scotty Wavrek. Also numerous nieces and nephews; and brothers and sisters-in-laws, Rose Coyle, William (Sissy) Coyle, Richard (Joan) Coyle, Rita (Calvin) Beltz. Also survived by fiancée, Patricia Croyle who for many years was his friend, confidante and nurse. Clete was active in the lives of Pat’s children, Bruce Croyle (deceased), Susan (Richard) Goshert, Pamela (Wayne) Shroyer, Steven (Claudine) Croyle and Jennifer (David) Gindlesperger. Grandchildren; Nicholas, Matthew, Lauren, Maria, Kelsie, Hannah, Nathan, Michael, Brandon and Mark. WWII Army Veteran. Retired from Hiram Swank Refractories. Member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Friends received from 3-8 PM Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr. Francis Balastino.
