Wingard, Clema L., 97, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2012 at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born on September 2, 1914 in Elton, PA. Daughter of the late C. Herbert and Laura Pearl (Gramling) Rhoads. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Kenneth Wingard. She was the last of 5 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her loving son, Leon D. âSkipâ Wingard, Johnstown, married to the former A. Joyce Page; grandson, Mark Wingard, and Lee Wingard married to the former Carmen Tejeda; 2 great grandchildren; 2 great-great granddaughters all of Bradenton, FL. Also survived by 8 nieces and 5 nephews. Clema was a 1933 graduate of the former Adams Township, now known as Forest Hills High School. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Her favorite past times included knitting, needlepoint, crocheting and quilting. The nurses at Arbutus Park Manor were so good to her and she appreciated them greatly. At Clemaâs request there will be no public viewing. Private burial will be at Richland Cemetery at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Pat Cleary officiating. The family suggests contributions be directed to Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 or to the Bethany United Methodist Church, 112 Leventry Road, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Clema.
