Cleda S. Wilson

Wilson, Cleda S., 98, of Richland, formerly of Cover Hill. Went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born on September 8, 1914, in Mt. Hope. Daughter of the late John and Ethel (Burnheimer) Reighard. Preceded in death by husband Chalmer, who died in 1962, sisters; Zona Strayer, Wilma Layton and InaBelle Reighard, brothers; Sheldon and Ronald Reighard.  She is survived by her son, Dennis L. married to Carol (Hodges), Bluffton, SC; grandchildren; Troy, Michael, and Kimberly, great-grandchildren; Sean, Tyler, Jennifer, and Juliet; sisters, Nancy Restum of Brighton, MI and Connie Clement of Mt. Hope; brother, Ray Reighard of Greencastle, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Cleda was a graduate of Adams Township High School. She worked for Penelec for over 25 years. Cleda was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, several pinochle clubs and bowling leagues, and she enjoyed working with flowers in her garden. Friends will be received from 12 Noon Saturday until time of service at 1:30 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Rev. Larry Rowe officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to Mt. Hope United Methodist Church or Arbutus Park Manor in memory of Cleda.
