Clara B. Varchol

Varchol, Clara B. (Boring), 90, Johnstown. Died August 2, 2016, at home. Born May 12, 1926 in Lockport, Pa. Daughter of the late John Boring and Mary Boring Carmichael. Also proceeded in death by her husband, William C. Varchol; daughter, Donna Lee Varchol; granddaughter, Amy Horn; and siblings Charles R. Boring, Pearl Boring, and Morris Boring.  Survived by daughter, Gwendolyn Yvonne Horn and husband, Paul Horn of Johnstown, granddaughters, Pamela Albus and Donna Heaton and husband, Clifford Heaton, all of Johnstown. Great grandchildren, Stephanie, Megan, Cody, Shellbie, Billy, David, Kayla, Dylan, Cheyenne, and Zack; also 9 great-great grandchildren; and sister in law, Mona Boring. Clara was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church, Johnstown. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family. Friends received from 11 AM to time of service at Noon Monday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Interment at Benshoff  Hill Cemetery.
