Clara E. "Peg" Felix

FELIX---Clara E. “Peg," 99 years, of Johnstown, PA, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2021 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, PA. Daughter of William O. and Viola N. Jordan, she was born on May 29, 1921 in Summerhill, PA. Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William A. Felix, her son, Ronald G. Felix, and seven siblings. She is survived by her son, Larry Felix and his wife, Rhonda, of Norristown, PA, her daughter, Darlene Connelly and her husband, Robin of Montoursville, PA; 7 grandchildren, Lianne Felix Daly (Matt), Lori Felix Shienvold (Adam), Susan Felix Speicher (Jon), Dr. Sandra Connelly-Mills (Jeff), Dr. Jennifer Connelly, Sean Connelly, Katherine Connelly; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Clara was a graduate of South Fork High School. She worked for several years as a seamstress for Bestform and for over 40 years at the Johnstown War Memorial. Clara was an active member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Scalp Avenue. She loved gardening, swimming, crocheting, canning, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The service, officiated by the Rev. Scott Klimke, will be at 2 p.m. Friday. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will provide flowers.
