Claire Helen Rozier

Rozier - Claire Helen "Billie" 86, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2024 at home. Born on Nov. 20, 1937 in Johnstown, daughter of Bill and Margaret Quarles. Preceded in death by Parents and husband William A. Rozier, sons Michael B. and Cameron K.; Siblings Patricia (Tee)Roy and Margaret (Peggy) Caufield.  She is survived by her loving children William A. Jr., Harrisburg, Hope S. (Kevin) Wiggins, Upper Marlboro, MD, Stephon Rozier of Johnstown. Also survived by two siblings Christina Fleming and Gloria Owens,  a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  Billie was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. Billie retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1996. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church where she served as a faithful member of the Choir and The Kitchen Ministry.  She served as a long-time member and District Deputy Grand Matron of the 6th District Order of the Eastern Star and many other organizations.  Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Friday May 24, 2024 and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 25, 2024 at Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church 351 2nd St. Conemaugh, PA with the Rev. Webster Israel officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
